We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations.
The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for managing a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in accordance with industry regulations.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise the housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling - Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained - Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to meet industry standards - Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to cleanliness standards - Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and guest satisfaction - Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed - Handle guest requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner - Oversee laundry operations, including proper handling and laundering of linens - Maintain records of cleaning activities, inspections, and inventory
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry - Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team - Knowledge of cleaning procedures, techniques, and equipment used in commercial cleaning - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills to interact with staff, guests, and other departments - Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping operations
