Greeting Patrons:
Welcome patrons as they arrive at the rink, providing information about available services, programs, and current ice conditions.
Processing Payments:
Collect fees for ice time, rentals, lessons, and other services, processing payments accurately and efficiently while providing receipts as needed.
Answering Inquiries:
Respond to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries from patrons, providing information about rink activities, programs, and policies.
Maintaining Cleanliness:
Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and presentable, including managing rental equipment returns and maintaining an orderly waiting area.
Safety Awareness:
Maintain awareness of safety protocols and emergency procedures, providing guidance to patrons and alerting management to any safety concerns.
Sales and Promotions:
Inform patrons about current promotions, events, and special offers, encouraging participation and upselling additional services when appropriate.
Open/Closing Duties:
Complete tasks such as balancing cash registers, reconciling transactions, and preparing the front desk area for the next shift.
Center Ice of DuPage is a multi-purpose sports facility located in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
Opened in 1989, the 56,796 square-foot facility houses one NHL-sized rink and one International-sized rink.
The arenas are complemented by party rooms that support a variety of community functions as well as group outings/field trips.
The facility hosts various hockey and skate programs, public skating, leagues, and private rentals.
Center Ice of DuPage is the proud home of the DuPage Black Bears Hockey Club.
