Executive Administrative Assistant Job Duties:
Conserves executive's time by researching and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
Maintains executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information.
Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; evaluating new office products; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
The successful Executive Assistant candidate will have the following skills:
A minimum of three years of experience supporting a C-level executive
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience combined with advanced education
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
Good analytical skills
The ability to identify problems and evaluate resolutions for a positive outcome
Strong leadership and supervisory skills
Good decision-making ability and judgment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
