Great opportunity for a mechanical engineer experienced in the design of bulk material handling equipment.
Responsibilities:
Using our standards and design programs, design custom capital equipment using SolidWorks with proper consideration for function, durability and manufacturability.
Work closely with quality, manufacturing, and service to ensure that equipment is built and maintained properly.
Work directly with customers to prepare approval drawings, resolve technical questions and adapt/create solutions to meet their requirements.
Travel (approx 5-10%) to customer sites in North America (primarily U.S. and Canada) to oversee the commissioning of equipment and resolve technical issues.
Required Skills and Experience
Must be familiar with stress analysis, welding standards, and primary fabrication techniques.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
10
Years Experience in 3D Modeling, preferably SolidWorks
Stable Work History
Capital equipment experience preferred.
Material handling equipment experience highly preferred.
