Fundraising Department Administrative Assistant

A community center is in need of an experienced professional to be responsible for its donor database management, donor acknowledgement and stewardship programs and donor/prospect research efforts. In addition, the qualified individual will assist and support the Director and the CEO providing support for the following:
Coordination and support to online giving and registrations to annual fundraising programs/events; planning, execution and support for activities associated with the charitable campaigns and planned Special Events of the department, mail merges, maintenance of Development/Fundraising web pages on company website, and lastly compile materials for Board meetings.
The qualified candidate will serve as resident expert on Thinsoft Fundraising Module software, online giving/payments and registrations and provide cross training to accounting/finance and membership Staff.
The hours for this position are between 30-40 hours a week.
$14.50/hr
The qualified candidates for this position must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Communications, Marketing, Business or related field. Experience in successful fund raising and database administration experience, preferably in a human services organization setting. Project management skills that pertain to coordinating, planning, and supporting fundraising special events and campaigns. The candidate for this position should have impressive computer based research methods. Working knowledge of constituent data base management. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including:
Word; Excel; Power Point. Ability to create interface pages, mail merging, manage database clean-up and develop policies and procedures for software utilization.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
